Principal’s Weekly Update
Thank you for strong participation in parent/teacher conferences and for attending the first Learning Celebration of the school year. Students exhibited great pride in their accomplishments. We look forward to their continued academic and social-emotional growth over the course of the school year.
Report Cards and Academic Support
Report cards for K-5 students were sent home on Friday, November 9 in backpack mail.
If your child will be receiving extra math support, you will find an intervention letter in the report card envelope. Homework club for selected students in Grades 3-5 begins Tuesday, November 13. Homework club invitations are also with your child’s report card.
All PK3 and PK4 students will receive their GOLD Progress reports this week in backpack mail.
Enrollment Projections and Class Size
Thank you for your engagement as we address critical issues related to class sizes and the potential programmatic shift of eliminating PK3. I appreciate efforts to engage in solution-oriented discourse as we grapple with managing space constraints. The Ross LSAT will meet tonight (Tuesday, November 13) at 5:30pm in Ms. Gruse’s room.
There is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, November 21.
There is NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING at Ross on Tuesday, November 20. All children will be dismissed from Ross at 3:30pm.
