Dear Ross Families:
Sending warm wishes for a relaxing holiday break this week. Here are a few updates:
Volunteers Needed for Holiday Tree Sale!
Ross’s 11th annual Holiday Tree Sale is right around the corner! Unfortunately, we do not have nearly enough volunteers signed up thus far & the tree sale will only be successful if everyone pitches in. Shifts are only a couple of hours each and there are lots of open slots. Sign up HERE. We could especially use help delivering trees on December 8th & 9th. Email questions to email@example.com
You can also help by:
Purchasing a tree from our online store! Pre-order your tree before December 6th to receive a discount. Even if you are not in town for the holidays or do not celebrate with a tree, you can still help by donating a tree to a family who might not otherwise be able to afford one! Pre-purchased trees can be picked up or delivered on December 8 or 9.
Please also use social media, your networks, or other contacts to spread the word about the tree sale. Here is a flyer you can use. Are you on a neighborhood or apartment building listserv and you haven’t seen anything about the tree sale yet? Please send along a message.
Help with the Ross Elementary Annual Bake Sale! We will be making/procuring yummy treats and selling them to the Ross community and neighborhood on Saturday, December 8th. How can you help? We need parents to donate BAKED GOODS or TIME to support the bake sale scheduled on Saturday, December 8th starting at 9am. Please commit to a contribution of time or goods here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090D4BAAA62BA2F49-annual
Ross Elementary School showed their commitment to this year’s Trick-or-Treat for Unicef with every single class contributing donations. The entire school raised $461.91 (plus pence/euros/feninga/pesos and every other worldly denomination you can think of!). Thank you to all of the classes for helping kids around the world and congratulations to the Playful Puppies for raising the most ($162.74) and winning Free Dress Day!
Thank you in advance for taking this survey to help the Ross LSAT better understand and address the interests of Ross parents in regards to middle school options. The information provided will be anonymous and your responses will only be shared as group data points. The survey should take between 5-10 minutes. If you have any questions about the nature of this survey or its contents, please contact LSAT Chair, Daniel Adler by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
