Just a quick reminder that our Halloween event, the Spooktacular, is right around the corner! This year’s Spooktacular team wanted to pass along a few pieces of information.
1) We still need volunteers!! Spooktacular cannot happen without help from parents. Thank you to everyone who has signed up. If you have not and are able, please sign up at the following link:
2) If you cannot volunteer, please consider bringing a dish to share.
3) In an effort to encourage kids to stay with their parents, this year’s parade will be organized by grade level. If you have children in multiple grade levels, feel free to choose the best grade for your family or designate another parent as a chaperone. The parade will leave Ross at 6:30, head towards New Hampshire, turn left on Corcoran, and take 17th back to Ross. The annual 17th StreetHigh Heeled Race will be taking place at 9:00pm that evening, so the area may be busier than usual. Please be responsible for your children.
4) Pizza, popcorn, carnival games, and prizes will be available until 7:30, but the Ross playground will be open until 8:00. Keep in mind it gets dark early so feel free to bring flashlights!
Contact Katie Mastin (katie@paulandkatie.org) with questions or suggestions.
Have a wonderful week and looking forward to seeing you at Spooktacular next Tuesday, October 30th!
