National Blue Ribbon Award

Ross has been chosen as a National Blue Ribbon School, based on a school’s overall academic excellence. Only 362 schools nationwide were chosen, so we are very proud of this award!

Mrs. Sawyer and Mrs. Juriga have begun maker spaces for K-1 and 2-3 on Mondays. If you are interested in helping with handycrafts or exploring with tech, please reach out!

Ross kicked off #WalkToSchoolDay with a mounted officer and @teddyroosevelt himself, followed by a visit from @DCPSChancellor.

I started the morning off at Ross Elementary meeting families at drop-off and visiting classrooms with Principal Searl. It’s clear to me why this small but mighty school community was recently named a 2019 @NatlBlueRibbon School! #nbrs2019
