About Our School

Serving children in PK4 through grade 5, Ross Elementary is a DC public school situated in the heart of Dupont Circle, in a charming historic building with a beautiful playground and playing field. The school was awarded #1 public elementary school in DC by US News and World Report in 2021 and 2026. 

Our teachers and staff bring outstanding qualifications and commitment to their profession, and the student population is small and diverse. Our dedicated and close-knit parent community feels that these are central to a positive elementary school experience.
